C course practice
Pow is a real trooper. I managed to get him out to Conover to a new place to train C course tending stuff. He'd not been on a tire track through grass boundary, although he knows gravel road, and mowed grass. He picked up the boundaries very well we thought, and seemed to enjoy working for about an hour tending. I also took Nari out there, and we put her on the snow fencing and tire track boundary - tire tracks made sense, snow fencing was obviously just a jump. Took her a long time to honor that side. She's never done boundary work away from my place, so it was good exercise for her. She had a lamb born in the graze while she was on duty, and she did a great job not coming in to see but staying on the graze and patrolling casually to keep the rest of the flock from drifting. We also tried out Brick, who in typical frenetic Brick fashion, made the sheep nervous and thought I was an idiot for not letting him into the snow fencing marked graze.
