You can tell they are moving around a lot more now - hard to take a unfuzzy picture of them!
I took out the whelping box in the kitchen yesterday - that's where they usually are during the day. If I take a nap I grab them up and stick them in the whelping box in the bedroom, and they are in there with me at night. Still a very very quiet group - only a bark or two per day. Hope it stays that way!
They had their first worming a few days ago - didn't like it,but that's expected. Had their nails clipped yet again. Nearly every couple of days, they are growing so fast.
They are playing like crazy now, for short spurts. Generally everyone will be awake and play for about 2to 5 minutes, then crash asleep. They'll have more room to run around now that they kind of can in the xpen. The pups really know my voice now, and when I roll over and talk to them in the morning, they all wake up and look for me. Still a really good friendly bunch. And quiet, did I mention quiet?
Let's see, I've been offline for a few days. We have good egg retrieval skills, thank goodness, very useful. Tested some bc's in foster care for the local rescue, and found that while all worked, one was fantastically stylish and easy. 5 mo old confident, dead calm, eyed but not sticky - great dog for a beginner. And going to a pet home! We took tons of pictures of him working and hope to talk the new owners into letting him shine. Jordan is working toward his CGC - he worked with me at Petco for 2.5 hrs the other night and was a good boy. I love how easy a good collie is, they make my job way too easy. Today we run the ducks through the course (thinking Kestrel and Dean can do that job) to prep for this weekend.
