Multipurpose

Pow had a good time, I think, at the C course lesson yesterday. Mostly it was for me to get straight what I needed for the narrow graze. What I could and couldn't do, etc. How much he could cross across, in front, behind, work the boundary up and down. It'll take us a bit to get our teamwork down, but it can be done. Haven't practiced it for a very long time, just been working on getting the main graze decent. I love his temperament - he was getting tired, and the clincian went to hit a sheep and hit him instead with a stock stick. He just glanced at her and kept working, after determining that she didn't meant anything by it.

Today used him to retrieve eggs I needed from a started turkey nest in a 2ft deep tunnel through the brambles and honeysuckle, barely visible from the chute area. He carefully retrieved them one at a time, 3 total, to put in the incubator at considerably lower risk to eggs and turkey girl. If I were to count the chicks before they hatch? Potentially 75-150 dollars worth of turkeys retrieved via dog.
