First time taking the dogs over to W's to work with his hawk, getting her adjusted to the idea of shelties being around and possibly resulting in good things to eat. We took Jack and Kestrel, both of whom do not have the "yucky bird" command (meaning run down and kill raptors, crows and vultures). Kestrel responded to the bird and a "leave it" command and just trotted around, carefully not looking at the bird. Jack was more curious, so we waited until the bird settled to Kess being around before I switched them out. Switched them out again and got Kess sitting under the bird at W's feet.
I think this'll be fun.
