First Sheep lesson

I have a recovering sheep - ketosis more than likely, from supplying her lamb a bit too well. Tosha is a great girl anyway, perfect test sheep, and very tolerant of dogs, especially her dogs. So we introed the puppies to her today, while she was lying down relaxing.

Blue girl and Bob were the most confident - she jumped straight for the nose, snapping and licking, while Bob muzzle punched and playbowed away. Eventually everyone came to see Tosha and sniff and play with wool. Brick carefully watched over the crew.

We've also started doing table work, sits, downs and stands on a chair. I also played around with two of them today on tracking but think it needs a few more days.

They play outside until they fall asleep - today they played through riding lawn mower, distant weed wacker, close by drilling, sawing and hammering of wood.

Someone/s is/are dragging all small items into their crate. Right now there's two metal utility articles, a pill bottle, a small football, a small duck, a large hunk of wool, and other things. I just caught the sable merle girl with the utility article in her mouth, so maybe it is her.
