Pupdate

Pups are starting to come along for chores - Gonna helped sort sheep, kinda, the other day then sat through class in the crate, Punch helped drive the sheep through 4 acres of woods from Deep River Collies back to my place today. They are working on down and getting it, sit is pretty ingrained, let's go for gaiting with auto stack in front, heel for flip finish/around finish/schutzhund turn and heeling with autosit. Working on stays, started conditioning for tracking by having them hunt for bfast and dinner. Gonna is still the most naturally sniffy. Time is coming to decide on her tracking indication vs hunting indication. Down for human hunting, but sit or stand for game? Decisions decisions.

They are on stock every other day, either ducks or sheep, and they get really fired up on ducks, which is great.

Bonnie's mom has come to visit nearly every week, which is great, and the Blue/sable boy has a job interview this week with a local farm. Bob and Speedy should do ok herding, but I won't put them in a competition home for advanced work at the moment. However, they'd both be loads of fun for agility or obedience, or therapy work. Both love kids. So those two are still available.
