We hitched the pups up for the first time, to the travois. Gives them something that is loud and clanky, has two shafts, and a bit of drag, but no actual weight to it. I use pvc and an aluminum backpacking frame.

Learned that you can't pet Speedy while hitched, as he turns to jello. He works just fine, is fine being hitched, but don't get into petting him.
Here's the results of a front end collision with petting while hooked to the travois:
For sale: 7mo old male pup, knows sit and down, come, well socialized, for sale as is and no promises as to driving use...don't check his dogfax record...
Seriously though - Speedy is still looking for a Therapy dog home, or a home with kids - he is a dog that can make a difference - so I'll hold out for the right situation!
