Last night I tried to sneak off to bed, leaving the snuggled old guys sleeping ( Jack on floor, Brick on couch). Didn't work. Jack woke up by the time I got to the bedroom, and later, when I went to get water, Brick had abandoned his warm couch for a hard spot on the floor next to where the lamb was ( in for the night due to storm and leg cut). Sigh. Always working.
