First herding/prey test

Using an older Jersey chick and being right there on top of things ( no one was injured, no worries) - I wanted to see what the pups would do when confronted with a novel aimate non- puppy.
Speedy - not sure, slightly worried
Bob - Eh, everything's fine. Didn't really notice it.
Tri boys - interested, followed it and licked it
Blue boy - interested, followed it and licked it
The girls? Ha.
Blue girl sniffed once, then leaped for it, with intentions towards a hard bite. She wasn't sure what it was, but it needed to be grabbed. When I removed the chick, she frantically searched for it for quite a while.
Sable girl sniffed a few times, then decided that she'd grab a wing, and proceeded to follow it grabbing at it.
Sable merle girl was inbetween those two - willing to bite at it, follow it, and searched more after than the sable girl.

They are so near sighted, it is really really funny to see them search for anything.
