The pups stayed with my friend Christine, who has Patches, a Charlie x Joy daughter. For 4 days, the pups got to take in the busy household, got up to chapter 5 in Charlotte's Web, read outloud by Vicky, a chapter a day, and got loved on a whole lot. They came back bigger, still offering sits, and ready to do more.
So they had their first herding lesson today. Little sable girl started it, helping put Albert out for the morning lessons. So I took each pup out with mom Whiskey on Chevy and Emily, to see what they'd do. Pretty promising. At one point the dark faced tri boy I had to grab up and he fought me, as he'd revved his mom up so much she was gripping and wouldn't release. He was thinking about gripping. Next strongest was the blue now sable merle boy, and the other tri boy,then Gonna, then Bob, sable girl, and Speedy. Last best was Punch.
