Back from the Trials - here's the rundown:
While we were herding, Charlie was in TN at a show cluster - gaining 2 majors! Just 3 more single points to go! I love that he's in the ring already having his HSAs.
Kestrel I think finally finished her HtCH with a 1st and 93 in HRDIIIs on Monday. That makes her my 4th HtCH. She also got a Started B sheep leg.
Her daughter Nova, out of Pow, got 1st place in HTADIs, and q'd in HRDIs.
Pow's son Blue got a 4th in HRDIIIs for his first q in AHBA level III events.
Lyric got another q in Started A sheep, just one more to go.
Joy got a leg in Started B sheep, really pretty outrun and our sheep were relaxed enough to be grazing during our hold.
Journey got her HSAd finished, after only being here for a short time!

Welcome to Claire Apple and the Golem Kennels Crew!
Here you will find information on our working Shetland Sheepdogs, upcoming litters, and recent accomplishments. We are located in rural Pittsboro, NC where the shelties can do what they were bred to do: not agility, not competition obedience, not cute couchsitting ( although they do those things too) - but honest stock and guard work with their flocks of chickens, ducks, sheep, goats, and guineas. All my dogs MUST WORK STOCK. I don't manage my livestock with feed, I manage it with Shelties. There is no backup Border Collie here - there's no need.
All my dogs work with me in public at my obedience classes at Petco and private clients, and are a joy to have out and about when we go into town.
